Our Story
Founded in the early 1990’s, Mortgage Link was one of the first mortgage adviser groups to be established in New Zealand and played a vital part in the development of the industry. We are 100% New Zealand owned and operated, with over 40 locations across the country all the way from Northland down to Central Otago. As a market leader in financial advice, we are proud to have helped thousands of Kiwis with their home financing needs.
Mortgage Link recently expanded its service offering in 2016 through the establishment of its sister company Insurance Link, which was set up to complement its mortgage products by providing the most comprehensive range of insurance options from the very best insurance providers. Making sure that Kiwis make good, informed decisions about how to protect what matters to them.

Meet the Otago team
We are a team of 12 working from our office at level 1, 116 Stuart Street, Dunedin and are available in Mosgiel by appointment. We are registered financial advisers under government regulation.
Modern day life seems to be hectic, trying to juggle the work vs family life balance plus buying a home can be stressful. We pride ourselves on the quality of our advisers and working as a team ensures there is always someone available to help you. Specialist Advisers cover all aspects of lending including Residential lending, Business or Commercial lending, Equity Release and insurance.
Mortgage Link Otago Ltd was established in 1996 so we have plenty of experience to help you achieve your property dreams. As we get paid a fee from the bank if you draw down a loan through us we do not charge you for our service.
We also have non bank options for clients who may not fit with the main stream banks due to poor credit history, not being able to prove their income, the bank just doesn’t want to approve or the lending ratio doesn’t fit within the reserve bank rules. In some of these cases a fee may be charged however this is always discussed before you enter into any agreement.
Our aim is to work with you for the lifetime of your loan to help you achieve your goals and pay the least amount of interest possible. We carefully listen to your needs and make recommendations based on your circumstances. With the right advice you can save thousands of dollars over the life of your loan.
