I was born and raised in Dunedin and, after spending seven years living and working in Perth, Australia, I’m very happy to be back home.
I have worked in banking and finance for over 13 years , including roles with several banks in both New Zealand and Australia, as well as another mortgage broking firm here in Dunedin. This experience has given me a good understanding of the lending process from both the bank and broker perspectives.
In my current role as Operations Manager and Assistant to Michael Walters, I look after the day-to-day running of the firm and manage our administration team, making sure everything behind the scenes runs as smoothly as possible. I also work closely with Michael and his clients, helping with lending applications and supporting clients throughout the finance process.
I enjoy the variety of my role and especially enjoy being able to help make what can sometimes be a complicated or stressful process feel a little easier for our clients. I like being organised, keeping things moving and knowing that our clients have someone they can come to with questions along the way.
I hold a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), specialising in Residential Property Lending , Investment and General Insurance.
Outside of work, I enjoy making the most of life in Dunedin and spending time with family, friends and my pets. I’m proud to be working in the city I grew up in and enjoy being part of a team that helps people achieve their property and lending goals.
